Firstly, I have always love Bobbi Brown cosmetic approach and how her tutorials guide which lays in a very simple step by step routine. Bobbi Brown herself is a role model who inspires other makeup artist to move forward in this challenging industry.

Urban Decay is one of the latest and upcoming brand in Singapore. As much as MUA endorse Urban Decay primer potion, their wide ranging lip colour is not bad either. They are very moisturising and does not leave your lips chapped. They also comes in a good packaging.

I ever bought Shiseido lipstick with this pinky tone.. It ultra smooth texture glides easily on the lips and yes its very moisturising..Does not leave u with chapped lips.. for sure!! A word of advise, not all the beautician over at Shiseido counters is friendly enough to help out with the products. They are too busy looking at themselves in the mirror that at times they overlook the fact that customers are looking for help.

I bought this product while I was on holiday in Malaysia. Got it at Parksons through Laura Mercier beauty counter.. Surprisingly, they are not available in Singapore.. oh wait!! yes they do..located at Basement One @ Takashimaya, they shared a space with this store called True Colours next to the escalator in front of Zara. I had a hard time finding this shop but its was pretty much a disappointment for me.. cause they dont have many choices and its really really very limited.. I really mean it.. so dont need to waste ur time, effort and money for this brand at this shop called True Colours. On top of that,  its more expensive than what I got in Malaysia.

Sadly, Sephora in Singapore does not carry Laura Mercier either.. So another alternative is to order it online.. or perhaps when u go for a trip to KL, Malaysia, head down to Laura Mercier beauty counter and give it a try..especially their lipsticks..

5) Benefit

Benefit is one of the popular brands in Singapore.. with this brand expanding their beauty counters over at major shopping centres like Tangs and Robinsons, its a no wonder that they become popular among cosmetic consumers.

Their award winning product is none other that the Benetint.. honestly I have yet to try this product out but I heard good reviews about this product. The very first item I bought from this brand is their lipstick.. It is as smooth as Shiseido.. just that this Benefit comes in a wide scale of colours for various skin tones..

Retail price: SGD$35.00

Ok, so thats for my Top 5 PICKS when comes to lipstick.. I know there are a lot of other brands out there..but these 5 remains my classic favourite.

I know MAC has a variety of colours too.. and yes, MAC is good too but I may not want to compare these brands aboved with MAC.. For your information, not all MAC lipsticks is good. They have sheer finish, matte, amplified and few others.. so u really need to identify the which type of lipstick best suit u from MAC.. The matte ones are very drying and u really need to pair it up with a lipgloss.. seriously!

I love Friven & Co

There are various brands out there retailing on beddings and room deco. I was particularly searching for some bed linens and some stuffs for my new room. I passed brands like Aussino, Cavali and few other brands that can found in major departmental stores like; Tangs, Robinsons, Metro and John Little.

Then I found Friven & Co and I can tell u this, everything was worth it. The staffs renderred good assistance and services that I feel so at home with their personalised service and their excellence knowledge in beddings. I was referred to Michael (the branch @ Nassim hill) and he was kind and patience enough to introduce to me all kinds of beddings and explaining all the details to me..

I ended up buying few stuffs and seriously they are currently on sale right now.. Not only Friven comes with good quality product, the staffs that helped me all the way did play a part to my pick for beddings stuffs..

Yes, in terms of $$$, they are more expensive than pretty much what u find in other brands or store.. but the threadcounts that FRIVEN & CO has is simply awesome!! 950 threadcount!! gotta be kidding if u can find this elsewhere, well maybe for Cavalli but not like those found in Aussino, definitely.

I had a great experience shopping @ Friven & Co and trust that this wont be my last visit! *wink wink*

I love love love love this product. Its actually a cleanser.. and what it does was, it cleanse your skin like 20 times better than the normal cleansing that you do on your own. It acts a micro massaging tool and it gently penetrates the skin at 300 movements per second. The flexing action between the outer and inner brushes works deep within the pores to loosen dirt and oil, while the back and forth oscillating motion of the inner brush effectively cleans, clarifies, and stimulates the skin. I tried it on my hand at Sephora the other day and I really get to see the difference between my hands.. Its brighter and more softer with just one wash. Damn this is good. I bought this recently from Sephora. I have heard a lot of reviews regarding this particular set from Bare Escentuals. Its all mineralized and the thing about mineralised powders is that it wont clog your skin and thus lead to blemish or acne prone skin.

After an idyllic upbringing in a tiny village called Nibe in the Danish countryside, Henriksen eventually moved to Indonesia where his skin became inflamed with cystic acne. Luckily he fell into the hands of a talented aesthetician named Lagita, at whose clinic in Jakarta he began getting treatments. Lagita's magic, performed with various botanicals, brought his complexion back to perfection and it was through this experience that his interest in skin care was born. Eager to learn more, he moved to London to pursue degrees in skin care and cosmetic chemistry before venturing to the United States.

Well thats pretty much an intro of Ole Henriksen. One of my most and major investment in skincare is Ole Henriksen. Yes, they are available in Sephora. And yes, they may came in a lil more pricey than other skincare brands but serously, this is good stuff! ;) I mean good and quality product.

I was introduced to Ole Henriksen from one of the helpful staffs in Sephora, Farrah where she recommended me to use Ole Henriksen for my daily skincare regime.
